Okay I am just a guest in the wedding you may ask, here is the Wedding Guest makeup ideas.

Gold + Coral/Pink :

This combination works well on Indian Skin tone, also can be worn for both evening and day. It will simply go well with saree or a salwar, also it is amazing when worn with Gold jewels(which is common in South of India).

This combination is elegant, traditional and brings the trendy you. If you love bold colours a dark Coral lipstick and big sized Bindi will bring the dynamic you.

The smaller the Bindi the lighter shade of lipstick will go well.

One more tip, while wearing a bigger bindi tie your hair up i.e you will need to show more of your forehead so it looks gracious.

My skin tone is slightly above wheatish, of course has blemishes(just in case you wonder).

What you need:

I used most of Maybelline products.

  • Concealer
  • Foundation
  • Compact powder
  • Eyebrow pencil
  • Kajal
  • Eyeshadow
  • Mascara
  • Eyeliner
  • Lipstick
  • Lipgloss
  • Blush
  • Makeup Brushes
  • Foundation Sponge
  • Bindi

Face Makeup:

1.Moisturise your face well(a well moisturized face will not produce pancakes, you can know it is well moisturized if the skin doesn’t pull anymore when you smile). If oily dab will tissue or clean lightly using a plain foundation sponge.

2.If you have a primer fine else you can proceed with concealing the blemishes(I have not used a primer)

3.For concealing and flawless base a good BB cream works well.(Used: Garnier BB cream )

4.Then apply the foundation using sponge and blend well into skin.(used : Maybelline Dream Matte mousse,Honey beige, medium 4).

Foundations are used to even the skin tone and for the glow not for fairness,so select a colour matching your face skin tone, not swatches in your hand.

5.Set the foundation with the compact powder/loose powder(Used:Maybelline Dream Matte powder,Honey Medium 3-4)

Concentrate on under eyes, nose and chin(i.e the T Zone)

Eye Makeup: Smoky Gold+brown

I will not prefer smoky black, most of us already have black circles and smoky brown goes well.

Eye shadow – I have used a local brand as I am just trying hands on them you can select the Maybelline eye palate.Almost has all the colours I used.

Eye Brows:

1.Use a brown eyebrow pencil and line the eyebrows from the middle to the end.Fill it will brown or black eyeshadow or even eyebrow pencil

Eye Shadow:

1.Apply the base colour ,something more to Nude brown all over the eye.

2.Choose a bring Golden brown(Indian Wood) for the creases.

3.Take Yellow colour and trace it lightly along the brow line and tear drop and blend it lightly with the colours below.

4.Instead of black in a smoky eye ,try a darker brown along the V of the eye.

3.Winged Eyeliner looks class, you can try one(Used: HyperSharpLiner Maybelline Eyeliner).I really love the brush tip it has and the flow of the ink.

4.Use a Brown eyeliner to go along the lower lid(Used: NYX 905 Cuive)

5.For a big eye effect, you will have to trace the upper lid also with black eyeliner(Used Lakme eyeconic). It brings out nice definition.Don’t be too harsh just a small light stroke.

6.Similarly apply Mascara. It needs to be thick even false eyelashes works well.(Used:Maybelline HyperCurl Volume express)

Lip Makeup:

1.While you apply moisturizer to face, apply a nude lip balm to your lips(Used:Nivea Lip Balm)

2.If you have a lip liner fine . I have not used one

3.Apply the Lipstick for Coral Look I used Maybelline BOLD MAT 2 on top the Maybelline Lip polish Glam 2(if you are okay with just Lipstick it is fine)

4.While applying the lipgloss dab more of gloss in the centre of the lower lip and spread to the ends separately.Instead of painting it swipe once to right and then from centre to left.wedding guest makeup6

Blushing time:

Apply the Blush in the contour regions that is the check bone, slightly above the brows and on nose.(Used : Maybelline Cheeky glow Peach),if not contouring else it is fine in Cheekbone.

Sindhoor:

If married then try a Red Sindoor instead of the usual marron.(Used :Shingaar Sindoor)

The Gold+Pink & Gold+Coral
