Just washing your face will do no good, you need to remove the dead skins, tighten the pores and moisturise well for a healthy looking and glowing skin.
Any skincare begins with a Cleansing, scrubbing, Toning and Moisturizing. Also known as CTM.
Whether you wear makeup or not, we are all exposed to dirt and pollution.
First step is to remove the impurities.
You can do this by applying and massaging coconut oil on face. Even oily or acne prone skin can do this. This method is called ‘Oil Cleansing’ and highly recommended by beauty gurus from all over the world.
Next comes Scrubbing.
Scrubbing is really important in removing the dead skin. This allows new skin to appear and will give you a younger and fresh look.
For this you can use a Gram flour and turmeric mix them with rose water (oily skin) or milk/curd (dry/very dry) skin.
Let this sit on your face for a while and then wash it off by scrubbing the mask gently.
Scrubbing should be done ONLY 1-2 times a week. Also read “Skin care mistakes” for more such tips.
Toning, is quite ignored by many. It helps in tighten your pores. Clear the pores and in turn reduce the formations of acne and pimples. Read my pimple story and how I over came it to know more about pimple/acne troubles.
Toning also helps in clearing some dead skin which may lead to blemishes or pigmentation. There is no better toner than rose water.
